Araucaria is a genus of coniferous trees in the family Araucariaceae. The most well-known species of Araucaria is the monkey puzzle tree, which is native to Chile and Argentina.

They are often grown as ornamental plants, and are valued for their unique appearance and ability to tolerate a wide range of conditions. Araucaria trees prefer well-draining soil and full sun, and are drought-tolerant once established. They are also resistant to pests and diseases, and can withstand freezing temperatures.
