Epipremnum aureum, commonly known as the golden pothos or devil's ivy, is a species of flowering plant in the family Araceae, native to Mo'orea in the Society Islands of French Polynesia. It is a popular houseplant, known for its long, trailing vines and its ability to tolerate a wide range of growing conditions. 

The golden pothos gets its common name from its glossy, golden-green leaves, which are heart-shaped and grow in a variety of lengths and widths. It is easy to care for and requires well-draining soil, regular watering, and plenty of indirect sunlight to thrive.
