Jasmine is a genus of flowering plants in the family Oleaceae. They are native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world and are known for their fragrant, white or yellow flowers. Some popular species of jasmine plants include Jasminum officinale, which is commonly known as the common jasmine or the white jasmine, and Jasminum sambac, which is commonly known as the Arabian jasmine or the mogra. 

These plants are easy to care for and require well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. They also require regular watering and should be fertilized regularly to encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering.
